Had a beelte land on the hood of my car last night as I pulled in to the house. I wouldn't of thought much of it except it was the size of a MOUSE!!! Tried to catch em but it was dark and I was little scared of it. tried googling it it to find out what kind it is but no luck. I know I have limited info on this bug but do any of you guys know what kinda beelte this would be?

man up!!!:) Just kidding, too bad you didn't get a pic though. My 4 y.o. daughter is a little entomologist in training so I've been forced to learn a few things about beetles.

I kicked two of those off my porch last night. They are attracted to my porch light at night.

They sneak into your bed at night and lay eggs in your ears!

I caught on of those beetles this weekend but he was a lot smaller. Maybe his little brother??

I get those same beetles at my pad in Provo. Freaks the wife out!
