Cortland 555 problems

For all of those who have bought 555 and are having problems with the front end sinking I just learned that the line needs a dot of glue on the end to seal it and then it will float really well...........maybe everyone already knows that but I didn't so I thought I'd post it due to all the bad posts I've read about the line having this problem.

I recently noticed that happening with my Cortland 444 line, but since it's my first line, I didn't know that was atypical. I was putting floatant on it, but now I'll put some flexament on it and see if that cures the problem.
