to enjoy my best day fishing in streams. I had an awesome day yesterday with two great guys that I had never met before. I can't thank Chris and Lonnie enough for showing me some 'real' Utah fly fishing. You guys are awesome and great stewards of the environment as well. Again, I can't thank you enough for sharing a day on the streams with me. Simply beautiful country out here in Utah. You guys rock!

Ditto what Lonnie said, I had a great time watching you bounce between us pickin it up so quickly while still getting to pet the kitty myself here and there. Is the next time Friday??
I feel as if we left somethin on the table. Friday? I'll make it happen if you want. Any one want to loan me a 3 weight so I can teach this proper like? Still no word from Edd Robb's.

Not so much a pinch just sucks using a club like a 4 or a 5 like I got available right now on the waters we fish.
Headfirst got real aggressive with one particular trout. Hooked it less than 4 ft above me across river on the 5th or 6th cast. Lonnie was with him on the opposite side of the river. Mind you this toad had ate HF's presentation on the first pass as well, Toad Stalker just didn't know it even though I said he ate it. Toad is swirling and slidin left and right. This boy was plain hungry.
Anyway...Tim buckles down on this rocketeer and it all went pop, show over. Tim waaaasss pissssed but he kept workin the rest of the day. I was very proud of his accomplishments.
I walked into a similar situation a bit later. Big phucker is just owning the middle of the "river" and 4 casts no hook up just a few admirable glances. I take a step back into the willows and change my dropper. 1st case bang he's on. With the odd stick in hand I just couldn't control his down stream run at the green covered hole after he flew 3-4 feet high and 5 feet down stream on the initial hook up. I smiled after the 10 second quake in my body and said "to the trout". walked my swollen ass back down to Lonnie and Tim and vocalized my experience as to ease Tim's mind. It happens, who's up?

That was an awesome moment. To see Tim get that excited about a fish that he could use for bait on his boat was pretty cool. "Yeah, but trout are smart...."

I made myself you can borrow - although I'm sure a "Cheech" would destroy it. I'd sure love to come too if I can arrange it (I'll use another rod)... when you heading out?

Dude, that would be frickin' awesome. I cancelled a 90 minute massage just in case. Who would trade a day on the Utah back country streams for a young hottie rubbing them all over? Not me!

Lemme know.

Peace,
Tim

Not unless there was a 'happy ending involved'.
