The April Cache Anglers meeting will be held Wednesday April 18th, 7pm. We will be meeting at the Logan City Justice building in the Public Meeting Room. 290 N. 100 W.
The USU Fish Ecology Lab will be giving a presentation on recent work conducted on the Logan River. Phaedra Budy and Gary Thiede will present some of the recent data from the Logan River sampling and on early life history of cutthroat trout in the Logan River. Eriek Hansen (masters student) will be presenting an update on the research conducted on the Spawn Creek restoration project with results from the first year of livestock exclusion. Jeremiah Wood (masters student) will be presenting work looking at the early life history of brown trout in the Logan River including redd counts and egg to fry survival.

-BOC Banquet- April 14- 5:30 pm at the Stan Laub center on the USU campus. Tickets available at the UPS Store on 4th North in Logan.
-Wasatch Fly Tying & Flyfishing Expo- May 19- 8am-5pm, banquet to follow. We need demo tyers and assistants for the kids tying area. Call Nick at 435-245-3434 to volunteer for either.
-Free Fishing Day June 9- Willow Park, Logan- 10am-3pm. We need more kid tying volunteers for this ievent, as well as people to assist with casting games...spin & fly. Call Nick to volunteer.
-Cache Valley Hook & Slice Fish/Golf tourney- Aug. 4- Logan River Golf Course. 4 man scramble, best ball format. More details next month.
-Logan River Cleanup- Aug. 19- 10am at First Dam Park. Burgers, dogs & potluck to follow the cleanup.
