All UOTFly members are welcome to join us in a little fishing and BBQ up at Mantua Reservoir near Brigham City on Saturday June 1st. The plans are to of course do some fishing (float tube or pontoon boat), meet some fellow UOTFly members,
share some secret flies, and have a BBQ around lunch time. We've had a couple of these get togethers in the past and they've been great.

For the BBQ I will bring my gas grill but I need some volunteers to bring condiments, meat, plasticware, drinks, chips, etc. If everyone brings something we should have it all covered. Please post a reply if you plan to attend and what
you can bring for the BBQ. If you have some fly recomendations feel free to post them as well. Hope to see you all there. FISH ON!

Just take a day off fanatic! Get sick... I'll be there with chips, napkins, plates and some fork / knife stuff.

I didn't say I was bringing my rod! Like I said, I'll be there with the chips, plates, napkins and fork / knife stuff. =) I'll probably bring my 6wt and intermediate line though -- just in case.

For those of us who dont know our way around this area, could someone post driving directions to the water? Thanks in advance.

BYR,

Easy to find...go north on I-15 to the Brigham City...Logan exit. Head east towards the mountains, through the light on highway 89, up the canyon for about 3 miles...can't miss the reservoir.

If you stay on the main highway once you see the lake, and until you see the Mantua sign, turn right at that street ... you are heading east...turn right on the main town street and travel south till you see the parking area for the boat launch and the "john"...you are there.

Here's a map for directions...

To add what to Ed said, take exit 364, bout a mile from the north bound rest stop.
