My daughter is in the Jackson Hole area and trying to find some sites to fish. Have checked with local shops and pretty much the Snake and tributaries are in run off or still closed.
Just wonder if anyone has any suggestions for this area and flies for the next few weeks.
Thanks,
Bob

Bob, Good to hear from you. When are you coming out? I have some vacation time in early June.
A trip over to YellowStone Park might get her into some areas to fish. I haven't fished much in the Jackson Hole area. But Yellowstone Park i have fished alot and love it there.
E-mail me and let me know when your making it out here

Streams around Jackson will be in runoff mode for a while yet. Yellowstone would be a good bet but the waters don't open until Memorial Day Weekend. You can try some of the lakes in the area near Jackson. Leigh, Jenny, and Phelps to mention a few.

I believe the south fork of the Snake is open, but water levels are probably high. Bear Creek, a tributary creek that feeds into palisades resevoir, should be open (it was closed last year due to low water levels) and it produces some nice fish.
