Brand new, unused. I don't have a warranty card.
Retails at $305.
What is a reasonable price? $270?

Without a warranty card it's going to be hard to get much more than half of retail.

I'll consider offers. With that in mind, I may end up keeping it.

I've sent many a Sage rod in without the warranty card registered., never, ever, ever have I had a problem getting the rod repiared & back in good time.
If you take it to a Sage dealer for warranty issues, you will not have problems. Sage is good about standing behing there sticks.
I think 270 is fair, but it wood move faster for 200.....
peace
ps: does it have a sock & case?

Grizz has a good point, and I didn't notice that it's brand new.

Thanks for the input grizz.
Like I said, I'll accept offers.
The rod comes in the original cordura case. There is no sock, but the case has lined dividers.
Probably not interested in the fly trade offer. Thanks anyway.

Interesting what fly-rods are worth without any warranty.
We pay big bucks for the warranty.

A few years ago I snapped a Sage DS2 rod that was clearly marked demo and I bought it as a demo rod from Anglers Inn before they went under.
I sent it into Sage without the warranty card and they charged me just the shipping and handling charge. :)
