The Cache Anglers will be hosting a visit by Bob Jacklin on Saturday October 21st.
Bob is literally a fly fishing legend. In 2004 he was inducted into the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame.
He is a FFF certified master caster and instructor, and a world class fly fisherman and fly tier.
He owns a fly shop in West Yellowstone, Montana, where he has guided for 30 years.
We will be having 2 classes on Saturday, both at the county building in Logan. In the morning
Bob will give a seminar on "The Theory of Flycasting." In the afternoon Bob is going to have a tying class,
assisted by Bob Trowbridge. He will tie a few of his patterns for the attendees and then have open tying,
with people asking questions on whatever aspect of tying they wish to learn more about.
There will be a banquet at the Coppermill on Saturday night with a choice of sirloin of beef medallions or chicken
cordon blue. Bob will give a presentation on fishing in Yellowstone at the banquet. There will be door prizes and
items for raffle.
The cost for events is:
Casting Seminar: $10.00
Tying Session: $20.00
Banquet: $20.00 ($35.00/couple)
Spaces are limited, so reserve yours ASAP!

Be sure to bring your Jacklin books/video for signing. We'll try to have a few extra copies for sale at the banquet if you don't already have them.
