I am considering at trip up there in early June. I am familiar with the area but have only fished Henry's Lake at this time of the year. I am looking for a good place to camp close to the water and any suggestions on tactics and places to focus on. Please share any info that might help. Thanks, TB
There are several very nice public campgrounds just past island park and just off the highway. Several are within walking distance of the Henry's Fork...the box section.

Boomer, we always stay in the Box Canyon campground. Great sites. Also, I love to fish the Box and you are basically camping right next to awesome fishing. I only fish big stonefly nymphs in the early part of the year. They are keying in on those. So, in June, that is all I would use. Maybe throw a dry adult if they are really hatching. I love that section of the river. 30-40 fish days are not uncommon.

I hear coffee pot rapids is an excellent place to camp. Riverside seems to have the most campsites of anywhere on the river. I would probably call for a reservation though
