All the fishing stores have tying videos. If you learn well from a video then by all means get one of the basic videos and move on up from there. Plus if you google fishing videos or something to that effect you'll be able to learn online.
Might I suggest taking a class? It is a great way to meet other fishermen besides learning that way is my preferred method.
FlySmyth.
I have on called the Art of Fly Tying. Not sure where I got it, but it's pretty good. Try a web search,

I also started with "The Art of Fly Tying". It is a disk for the computer that made it really handy to learn because I could access specific pics or procedures very rapidly.

Curtis, Jason and I made a DVD that includes several patterns for the Provo river. It's got full tutorials for all of the patterns. If you want a copy, I have several sitting at home. They are $20. I could mail it out to you if you would like. Shoot me an email cheechfisher@gmail.com

When are you guys going to produce your next video? I thought your first video was very well done and informative.

Curto is about finished with the stillwater video, and I must say the previews look awesome so far. It should be done in a month or two (right Curtis???). We also have another Baetis video that has some updated and improved patterns. All the filming has been done with it, so as soon as the Curtis has some time, he'll edit that one and off to the burners as well. Should be pretty sweet.
As far as the other one being well done, I agree. It's all about Curtis though. That guy has some mad video skills. The next few will be even better because we have a professional camera and lighting set now.
