I'm headed for Vernal next week, and hope to hit Pelican. Anything going on there? Are the fish still deep? Any help on flies or tactics would be appreciated. I'm a rank warmwater beginner, so they aren't in much danger. I used a flyrod for 'gils last time there, and managed a few small ones, but I hear there's monsters in there. I'm itching to try a new 3wt. out on them.
