I'm looking for information on floating two rivers in Utah. I'd be trying to use a 10 foot pontoon, and will be around the Ogden River, and later the Provo River, either the middle or upper sections. Is this done or is it so easy to wade that people don't pontoon them?
I'm just beginning my research and deciding on whether to haul the pontoon. I have no idea if the rivers can be pontooned in the third week of September, but I'd like to try if there is water and no obstructions. I'll have two days on the Ogden and three on the Provo. The alternate is to pontoon Jordanelle Reservoir, Cliff Rock area.
