Stonefly Society needs volunteers to help with teaching fly fishing and fly tying to school aged children next Wednesday August 2nd. We are participating in the summer library program at the Park Library in Taylorsville by doing a 1 hour presentation/demo for the children. We will have rods and reels as well as fly tying supplies for the kids to try out. It starts at 7pm and we should be done by 8pm. It's a great opportunity to instill some fly fishing knowledge to the younger generation...instead of video games. :-) We hope to see you there. Please email Jason Haslam if you plan to attend. Thanks.

We'll probably split the group into two; one will be tying flies inside and the other group casting out on the lawn. It should be fun.

Sorry, here's the address: Taylorsville Park Library 4870 S 2700 W

Anybody is welcome to show up and help. In fact, anyone with school aged kids would be great to have you there. We start at 7pm and it shouldn't run more than an hour. Thanks.

I'll have to see what saturday nite has in store for us. My daughter was trying her hand at it last weekend when we were up at Pineview this might be a good oppurtunity for her to learn the right way.
