Was wondering how many people on this site are familiar with the wind river range, because I would like to know which lake would be the best to camp out at. I've narrowed it down to High meadow lake, Cliff lake, Cook lake, Smith lake, Cloverleaf lake, Cathedral lake, upper cathedral lake, or middle lake. I have never been to the wind rivers, and would like to know what to expect. As far as hiking goes, I'm pretty good at that, but how is the fishing? I've heard that the fish are a lot bigger on average, and that they are easy to catch. Can anyone elaborate? If you have just a fragment of information, please share. It would make a world of difference for me. Thanks in advance.
