Im going up to Pineview and was wondering if anyone had any pointers?It will be my first time fishing this spot and dont know what to expect.I'd like to hook me a muskie,but an not to surte how to go about it.

First, don't expect to catch anything. Pineview is not an easy place to fish. Plus, the water is the highest it's been in several years so the fish are really spread out. Secondly, you need a boat/pontoon/float tube, etc, to really move around and fish different areas of structure and depth. Fishing from shore is not going to be very successfuly...or easy. Thirdly, you'll have a good chance of catching a carp or smallmouth, but your chances of catching a muskie are slim. It's always worth a try though....you never know. They don't call it the fish of a 1000 casts for nothing. Sorry for being negative but Pineview is not easy to fish...especially if you've never fished it before. Good luck.
