built it a couple of months ago. Do a search on this site and you will see what the feather inlays looks like

Might be convinced to sell it for $275

Thanks for the note.....I'm really hoping to find a 10' IMX 6wt (if Loomis made the 6wt in a 10')

Just curious, I do not know Loomis very well, but what makes the IMX the best rod ever made. What type of action does it have etc.

I know currently their top $$$ rod is the GLX and from what I have been able to conclude it ranks up there with the top of the line Sages, Scotts, Winstons. So what makes the IMX so good?

GLX is thier top of the line followed by the IMX I own both in spinning rods, can't really tell the differance both are nice rods.

I fish a 9' 6wt IMX that I've had for years. I don't think they make it in 10'. I broke it once while landing a nice cutt on strawberry but Loomis replaced it at no cost. I wish more rods had the stealthy matt finish like the IMX. I recently took the rod saltwater fishing and caught some bones with it.

Good luck with your search.

Fulano, what makes an alabaster mound of nubile female flesh so arousing?

If you have to ask, you wouldnt understand

Regarding ten foot IMX rods, Loomis made a run of two peice models 3 thorugh at least 7 wt. It was a breif run, the ten foot five wt was pretty cool, I'm certain the six wt would be the bomb.

LuckyB: Bring that rod with you tomorrow, I'd like to have another look at it if you don't mind.
