I got this question from American Angler. Their take is like it or not the avian flu is going to get here some time. It won't be too long before the government could shuts down the import of feathers or skins from outside the country and that cheap little package of feathers could go through the roof.

I know Whiting is here in the US, but what if something happened to their birds. Imagine how expensive those necks would be...

That being said how many of you are going to stock up on feathers over the next year or two to prepare for the inevitable?

What's your take....

Compared to the price of gas to drive to the lake? Insignificant.

I'll just head down to UtahDave's place and pick up any feathers I need for the next 20 years.
