When is the last time that we all/ anyone submitted a new pattern into the archives? For me, it's been a couple of years....looking at other "high-profile" sites on the net, I think of a couple of things.....
1. Do we as flytiers like seeing our bugs online for all the world to see? Can't say I mind too much :)
2. How many of us here in Utah actually get on this site to gather/share info - vs- shoot the $h!t ?
3. How many of us "more experienced tyers" actually give the time of day to
less-skilled tyers? ...this might be a tough one to answer honestly....
I look at these other sites, usually attached to a periodical publications, and I wonder if this site will eventually get to that caliber, with archives, "how-to's" and the like....do we want it to?
Not considering those that contribute to this site financially, I'm talking about those of us who enjoy this site for the "substance," not the endless driville that usually results from an innocent "what's up" post.....
Anyone want to "pick this and make it bleed?" If anything, it'll be a refreshing turn......let's hear it :)
