For anyone that would like to help out with the Trailblazer program at this years upcoming Scout-a-rama on Saturday May 6th in conjunction with the Stonefly Society, please let me know. This would entail fly casting instruction, fly tying, and general fly fishing techniques to Scouts. This is the first year this will be done and we hope to make it a success. We need volunteers to come and help out. We will have some rods and reels for the Scouts to use if you don't feel comfortable bringing your own rods. You will however need to bring your own fly tying tools and materials. If you do have an extra vice it would be helpful to bring it along. Email me through my profile if you're interested and I'll provide you with more details. thanks in advance.

The Stonefly Society needs volunteers to help at the Scout A Rama this upcoming weekend. We'll be doing fly casting and fly tying for the kids to learn and try out for themselves. It will be held this Saturday, May 6th at the Utah Fairgrounds in Salt Lake. It starts at 9:30am and ends at 4:00pm. It's a great opportunity to introduce some of these young kids to the art of fly fishing and fly tying. We'll have a bunch of rods and fly tying stuff for the kids to use. If you're interested in helping out send Jason Haslam an email to jason@utahonthefly.com and he'll get you the details. You're also welcome to just show up and help out. Whatever time you can spare would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
