I am going to be spending a week here for a family reunion first week in August. Anybody spent time here? Any info on rivers, hatches etc. would be appreciated.

Estes Park is right near the Rocky Mountain National Forest. There's more water there than you could possibly hope to fish. Rivers around that area include the Poudre, Big Thompson and St. Vrain. There are also small streams coming out the yin-yang. You might want to call Estes Angler at 800-586-2110. They'll know more than I do.

Of note, the greenback cutt is native to Rocky Mountain National Park and would be fun to add to your "I've caught that" collection!
