Since I'm unable to get back down to the ISE show and I forgeot to check on buying booth space for next year, does anyone on the site know what they charge for a space?

And I'm curious if the rules have changed in the Fly Tying Theater (not complaining. I think it's great guys can sell product from the theater. I even bought something), but three or four years ago when I tried to sell some items after doing a demo, I was told I couldn't sell from the theater because it wasn't fair to those who paid for booth space. They told me that I either had to buy space or make arrangements with someone who had a booth and would allow me to sell from their location for a pecentage. Has this changed?

Booths start at about $1000. Good question on selling (or advertising) stuff from the fly tying area. When I catch someone doing it, I'll be sure to kick them in the shins and tell them "No soup for you!!! One year!!"

Seriously, though, obviously your comment is directed to us (and possibly Boomer too). We never had anyone tell us otherwise so...don't ask don't tell. It's all in fun...

I hope you know, I don't have a problem with you guys selling things from the theater, In fact, I think it should be allowed as a way to compensate those who help out. I just found it interesting that I was comfronted about it a few years back, not by Pete, but by someone who must have been associated with the facility or show organizer.

Next question: do you think several individuals could buy space and sell as a group? Or does each space have to provide a business license and space for just one company?

Watched your DVD on the Provo Flies today. You guys did a great job and I'm sure as you keep producing them, they will only get better. I would like to see some footage of you guys in action on the river.

Robert, we actually were talking about the booth "sharing" idea today. Let's chat about this. I figure we could get a group of people and share a booth. I have the contact info for the sales rep for ISE and I'll see what they allow as far as sharing booths.

Anyone else interested?

Stripper, good to see you there at the show...
