Dick,
Just wanted to know the story behind that fish. It looks like its been beat up bad. Where did you get this one? Pattern? Water?

That fish was caught in Logan area. Early spring must have had a tuff winter it was 26" long weighed around 6lbs.

In a river where the trout has to contend with a current a 24" trout will average about 4 lbs. plus about 1 pound per inch thereafter.
Sounds like that fish was right on.
Yes, there will be exceptions on either side of that average; that's is why it is a average.

Come on RHeppy...don't you want to give away your secret? You could at least have told everybody you caught it on the Logan River! Also, what was your pattern? Knowing you, you probably attached some sucker meat to your zonker to get that big boy to hit!
