Fly Tying Class with Scott Sanchez

The Stonefly Society is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to learn from one of the West's best fly tiers, Scott Sanchez. Scott has developed many well known patterns know through the West and even throughout the world. In addition to being our featured guest speaker at our annual banquet and auction February 4th, Scott has agreed to do a fly tying class while he's here in Salt Lake. This class will feature Scott's go to trout and bass patterns he's developed over the years. You'll have the chance to learn how to tie Scotts’ Double Bunny, Convertible, Biot Bugs, Conehead the Barbarian and numerous other flies. The class will offer the chance to see Scott tie his flies up close and personal while sharing his tying techniques that he's developed over the years. This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the best.

The class will be offered the morning of February 4th at Western Rivers fly shop from 9am-12pm. The cost will be $60 per person and will be limited to ten tiers. This will be a participation class so bring all of your fly tying tools and vice. Materials will be provided.
