That's an interesting read. Makes one wonder though, what would the value be of registering a potential catch and release record, and giving up your secret honey hole in the process, only to have the title stripped and replace with the titles "liar," "cheat," and "thief?" Two different scenarios I know, but related. Never even been close to a record but I don't think the glory would be worth the price which may be exacted.

Aloha, I have had a Leinenkugel's in the bar in Hayward where that big musky resides. The thing is huge. I have seen a guy catch a 50lb musky on a night crawler fishing for walleye on spider lake. The fish in the bar was at least 50% bigger thatn that 50 lber. So I say the fish in question is that big. But fishermen are known to exaggerate. I still say the 69lber is that big. Guys from Illinois are just jealous of the north woods. Ill e noise. Mems.
