I have this multi-use clamp that I use in the world of audio recording. (It is actually a lighting professional clamp for photographers, etc. I use it for microphones). Everytime I break it out, I think what a nice fly tying vise clamp it would make.
So, if anyone ever needs to replace a clamp, or get one because you have the weighted base, or for whatever reason,... this is a very nicely built clamp of cast aluminum.
The thru-hole is plenty large to accomodate all vise shafts.
