I'm currently looking for a new blank and I can't make up my mind as to which one to buy. Does anyone know about any sweet deals on some good blanks?

Madison River Fishing Company (www.mrfc.com) has some a great selection of quality blanks and good prices. Check out their closeout section in case you get lucky and find what you want. Also, email David (trader@southslope.net) for a list of his gear. I just picked up a winston blank for $200.

I just got two blanks in for a customer who decided that he didn't want the rods. They are both really nice. I am going to post an offer, but if you are interested, send me an email.
Thomas & Thomas LPS (Light Presentation Series) 8' #3 (brand new with warrantee card) for $265. I actually started to build this one. It has a smallish super-fine style grip, and a really nice Struble nickel silver uplocking reel seat (U-24) with Rose wood spacer already installed. The blank normally retails for $270 and the reel seat goes for $55+. The cork is really nice as well. If you want a guide set, I have a Titanium Carbide (TiCH, which is very hard and slick, as well are really classy looking) that I will include for $15. I have anything else you might need, too. Thread, epoxy, tip top adhesive, etc.
I also have a St. Croix SCIV (Legend Ultra) 7' 6" #3 blank. Again, it is brand new. Blank only for $75. I have another Struble NS (U-24) reel seat with Fiddleback maple spacer that I will also sell for $45. Again, I have guides and whatever else you might need.
If you are interested, let me know. I'll probably build them and post them on Ebay if I don't sell them in the next couple of days.
