I am looking for a Griffin bobbin that looks like. http://www.rodworks.on.ca/bobbins.html #6

It holds the longer spools of thread as well as the regular ones.

I am unable to find one. Does anyone have an idea where I might get one??

Thanks,

That's a sweet looking bobbin. I've got some thread/tinsel that would fit well on that bobbin. Good idea. I think you're best bet would to just order one from Rodworks. I don't think any of our local shops have one of those, atleast that I've ever seen.

Well I tried Fish Tech and rodworks. Both of them are unable to obtain one from there dealers. So I went right to Griffin and they told me they don't carry that model any more.. So I guess I will have to try a magnum bobbin and see if the spools will fit and spin freely. I have not tried Sportsmans yet but I will this weekend..

FlyMan -- It doesn't appear to me that Griffin makes that bobbin anymore! You might want to contact them. Check out:

These aren't Griffin's but they do look to have a similar function:

I sent an email to Griffin and they replyed saying... We stopped making that particular bobbin awhile back.
Not sure where you might find one.
Sorry we can't be of help.

So I guess I am S@!* out of luck...lol

I am hoping that the magnum bobbin will work if I bend it just right.
