I am very interested, but can't do it starting that day. I'm helping run a Woodbadge course and that is our first weekend. Do you have a general idea when you might run another rod building course?

Also, I see 2-piece fly rod blanks from J. Stockard starting at $17.95. They say they are "33 million modulus graphite" whatever that means. I'm looking to build a 3 wt rod with a mid or full flex. Would something like this do or do I need to budget more for a decent blank?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

If you are able to get a hold of DougS, I am good for Saturday at 4 also. I'd like to finish it up on Tuesday if that works to take with me to the green.

Thanks Greg, BTW how much is the fly tying class you have going on the 12th?

I went thursday..but we couldn't get a hold of you. So we pushed it to Saturday..and luck would have it I got stuck at a wedding. SO now i have left messages for Greg to try and squeeze me in. I was hoping to get this rod done before this weekend (to take with me).

when is your "second" class to finish up your rod. ?

Thanks I appreciate that.

In your opinion is there anyway to get a rod done by Friday? I could pretty much do whatever it takes (after 4:00 pm) to meet up and get it done. Otherwise, I can do it at your convenience / availability and just do it in stages to complete / learn. Sorry to have complicated the class.

Thanks again.
