Anyone want to hook up to fish this Saturday? Around 11:00 or so.

Is DF fishable right now? I wouldn't mind hitting this if possible and before someone tells me to do my own research that is what this post is about, I am not going to drive 3 hours to find out that I should have went to the Provo instead.

Amen, well said 4x! It's always pissed me off when I've read those type of responses in the past.

your going to drive 3 hours to fish the Provo???

Wow, I can think of lots of better places than that to fish within 3 hours driving time....

send Hopper Luv an email. He fished the DF last week and did pretty good...

I was planning on going to that spey casting clinic on Sat. at Western Rivers but it looks like they may have/be canceled/cancelling it.

If they do cancel it(which I think they will) I'd be interested in going. Also, if you're interested, maybe we could hit Lincoln beach on the south end of Utah Lake and try our hand at Walleyes.

Let me know.

ps. Jason, if you're thinking of fishing together on Saturday, I'd love to join you and get some pointers.

It is called driving to the "Mother in-law" so I fish while others visit it is one of the reasons I can make the trip more often.

I still haven't heard whether the spey casting class was cancelled or rescheduled. As soon as I find out that then I can give you a definite answer.

I was the one that page trout4x. I ended up fishing the middle from charleston bridge up. Caught 5 for sure, think I may have landed another one, can't remember. I also had about the same number of long distance releases. Caught them all on pink and orange globugs. In fact, I was having so much success compared to another guy that had been fishing there for ages that he asked if he could trade some flies for some of my globugs. He gave me two flies, I was generous and gave him about 4-6 globugs. I headed upstream to fish other holes, he stayed at the same hole and caught about 4-6 whities.
