My TU membership is about due. Is there something special I should do when renewing so that SFS gets a bigger cut of the money?

Talk to DaveII, he should have the renewal aps with Stonefly's number on them. I work in Murray and will pick up some Aps tonight at the SFS meeting.
You can email me At smithlance@earthlink.net. If any one is close to renewing or wants to join TU Please talk to one of the club officers in you area. Each chapter gets addtional funding for each new member.

When you are renewing it doesn't make a difference in how you do it. The chapter/council will still receive the same amount in the end. The only time it makes a difference is when you are signing up for the first time with TU, or you've let your membership lapse for about a year. If you are signing up as a new member than you definitely want to sign up through your local chapter since $15.00 of your $17.50 will go directly to your chapter and the remaining $2.50 will be sent to the council at the end of the year if they file.

If you wait long enough they will send you free gifts wanting you to renew....

Other than the TU renewals that Lance talked about. The best way to support your local chapter is to pay your national dues and then become involved in activities and then give some money to the local guys at banquets or fundraisers.
