Does anyone know of any rod building classes held in the Ogden/Layton area?

I was in "Hooked" in Layton last spring and asked this same question. One of the guys that worked there said that he would take me through it step by step in the back if I bought the rod supplies. Never had the time to do it but I'm sure it still applies.
Let me know either way.

I spoke to them today. They said they stopped teaching rod classes, because it was costing them business. He said customers were taking the classes and then buying the materials on the internet. I don't necessarily agree with that assessment/logic , but at least they were up front about it. I don't know about anyone else, but it's damn hard for me to go into a fly shop without finding something to drop a few bucks on. Kind of like a "kid in a candy store".

Another thought is an instructional video. They have them for everything else. Sorry I led you astray earlier. James is a good guy but sometimes his logic doesn't add up.
