Just to remind you, this Thursday is our annual presentation by Phaedra Budy and her USU research team. If you haven’t attended this meeting in the past you won’t want to miss it. It’s packed with great information on our favorite local waters. The meeting will be held at 7pm at the USU Water Research Lab, 1600 Canyon Road, directly below 1st dam on the Logan River. You don’t want to be late, last time they presented the room was packed full. If you would like more information on this meeting please e-mail me.
Also, this Saturday will be our outing to the Green River! If you haven’t fished the Green in the winter you are missing out. There are no crowds and the fish are hungry. The weather is actually a little warmer there than in Cache Valley typically. We are going to meet at 1st dam at 4:30am and car pool over from there. We will return later that evening. If you are interested in joining us please e-mail me and let me know so we can plan on you. So far we have about eight of us going.

Got a report from Doug Roberts yesterday. He said the good old Zebra rig has been producing well, midges are coming off nicely, and a few BWO's have been seen. Zebras in red & brown, gold tung bead. Moderate success with streamers.

We're not going to be able to make it this weekend. Too much to do for our meeting next week. But we want to hear a report, since we'll be up there on wednesday.

We did end up going. After we made it through Logan canyon luckily it was great. Over at the Green it was like spring time. The fishing was slow but the day couldn't have been much better.

Very nice warm, compared to the valley, day on the green fishing was slow but nice. Saw a group of bucks grabing a sip out of the river. Heres a pic of mike before he went for an invigorating swim. :)

You should have came Larry - weather was nice as soon as we got over the hill - well at least the temp. was nice, it was quite windy which hurt the fishing. Still though, we caught some fish, ate some gorge burgers and had a good time.
Josh - I don't know about "invigorating", I saw the look on Mike's face as he bobbed downstream - it looked damn cold!

Had a great time, like the rest said it was one of the slowest days on the Green. I am glad I went even though it was nasty weather @ 4:00 am.
Steelie it was nice running into "The Player".

It was nice to spend some time in the sun! That is really a pretty place, I had never seen that area before. And I'm sure it was nice for Steelie to see all of his old girlfriends driving through Wyoming. Baaah!
