There are an increasing number of posts on the site these days that are less than civil. Disagreement and subsequent discussion about some particular matter is fine. But please, let's keep it civil, non-personal and factual. If some particular thread or post gets you annoyed to the point where you can't follow that general rule, simply don't post.
I don't have the time to play referee these days, so I'm going to have to rely on you guys to make my life easy. I don't want to have to close threads, delete posts or threaten users with losing their access here. Nobody here has to agree on anything. You just have to show some restraint and respect -- no matter how wrong or annoyed you might be by someone's post or opinion.
