Have any of you ever used a Redington line? Are they any good or just a waste of money? What about the orvis Wonderline?

I have 3 weight orvis wonderline with my Scott rod, and it casts really well. Doesnt coil as much as other lines and seems pretty slick.
It is good line, and you can get it pretty cheap on ebay

I love Orvis Wonderline. Mine is pretty cracked after three winters, but it has been the best line I have ever owned. Orvis uses braided loop connectors on their line which I really like. If you clen it after use it should last a long time. You might want to try Rio lines- I really like their WF as well.

Orvis line is made by Scientific Anglers. It is a good line but it is not as good as S.A. mastery lines. I think the Redington line is made by them as well. You can get a good line for not too much dough. I would second the Rio lines. I love them. I fish those and S.A. mainly.

I have had good luck with the Orvis lines also, I have 4 & 5 wgths on a couple of reels and have been pretty happy with it. As far as RIO goes. Be carefull. My luck is that they have too much memory the line just wont straighten out especially if you are fishing in cold weather. I have only used Rio once so maybe it was a bad line but just thought I would put in my two cents.
