Attach thread
the bring it back to the bend of the hook. Attach wire and begin forming an
even body (thin), stop at the head. Wrap wire in even wraps and then tie off.
Form an abdomen with thread and whip finish.
ØComments:
The Red Midge is a great pattern that can be used all year round. When things
are slow or midges are present this can be a deadly fly. I think the red color
really attracts the fish. I have had days where the Red Midge was the only fly
I used and ended up having a great day.
