Green fine wire.

Attach thread
the make a smooth base. Tie in your wire and bring the thread to about 2/3 the
hook shank. Wrap wire in tight wraps and tie off. Tie in 2 peacock herl fibers
and make 3-4 wraps. Tie off leaving room for the head. Whip finish.
ØComments:
The Brassie should be staple for anyone's fly box. The Brassie can be fished
all year round when midges are present. Great fly that can be tied in various
colors.
