As
for threads and wire, there are endless ways to organize them. I've seen guys
stack them over small wooden tulls or put them in shoeboxes. The best way I've
found to organize my threads and wires is to put them in clear plastic Rubbermaid
containers with separate compartments. I usually put my wires next to each other
and then my thread colors next to each other. Again, clear containers allow
you to see what's in each box. I was lucky and ran across these containers at
a craft store in the sewing department. The height for thread spools was just
right. When I need to change my thread color I just reach for the thread box
and make the switch. It makes it a lot easier than rumbling through a shoebox
full of thread spools and wire!

2: With the popularity of beadhead flies increasing, and of course the
fishing success with beadhead flies increasing, I ended up buying a lot of different
kinds of beads with no where to put them. So, in my search for some sort of
container to keep my beads, I ran across a small plastic sewing box with divided
compartments. I actually found it at Fred Meyer on accident. It ended up being
exactly what I needed. With the clear plastic container I am able to see which
beads are in which box, making my bead search a lot easier. With the see-through
box there is no need for labels, you can see exactly what you want. I've got
to get some more of these! They're hard to find, atleast for me so far.
